The Archivists are a Minossian-based organization that collects and preserves the knowledge of the ancient world. Under protection from the Order of the Gryphon, a mercenary force of philosopher knights from various kingdoms, the Archivists maintain diplomatic relations with their fellow Minossians and the neighboring Sarkonid Empire. The library and its books contained therein come from the Ancient Warfare mod.
